What are the different types of edits that you offer?
AMG Cinematic
Our Cinematic Highlight video offers a more in-depth look at your wedding day, featuring footage from the entire event set to two ambient songs. Unlike our other videos, this edit does not include vocals from the selected songs and instead primarily uses audio from your ceremony and speeches. At a minimum, this edit is 7 minutes long and includes all of the technical elements found in our shorter 4-minute highlight video.
AMG Custom Highlight
Our Custom Video Edit is a 4-minute highlight video (sometimes longer) that features one song of your choice from the Musicbed. The song is spliced with the original and instrumental versions to create a customized audio track for your vows and other audio we include in the video. It is important to choose a song from the Musicbed for both copyright compliance and access to both versions of the song.
Wanderlust Edit
We have partnered with Wanderlust Editing, a wedding video post production company, to ensure that our couples receive their videos in a timely manner. If our in-house editors are backlogged, we may hire Wanderlust to complete the editing process. However, AMG will still handle all aspects of production. This package is offered to couples who appreciate our filming style and need their video sooner than the standard 5-month turnaround time. Please see the sample video below for an idea of the final product
2-Minute Edit
Our 2-minute highlight video is a condensed version of your wedding day that captures key moments and is set to a single ambient song. It's a popular choice for couples who have purchased the Yosemite package, as it provides a quick and easy way to relive their special day. Many couples who opt for this package are primarily interested in ensuring that their wedding is filmed correctly and choose it primarily for the full-length video edit. However, the 2-minute edit is a pleasant addition and a great way to share a shorter version of your wedding with friends and family.
Full-Length / Archival Edit
Our Full-Length edits include all the important moments from your wedding day. These are usually split into two separate videos: one for the ceremony and one for the reception. The ceremony edit includes everything from the start to the end of the ceremony, with any long, awkward pauses edited out. It typically runs from 10-30 minutes. The reception edit features highlights from the reception, including the grand entrance, first dance, parent dances, speeches, bouquet toss, garter toss, cake cutting, and any other special moments. This edit is usually 20-40 minutes long.
